Need help deciding which amp.
I have 2 12" RE's, and I'm trying to find a good budget amp for them.
My budget is $150max.. I've been looking on ebay...and I found some in my range... MA AUDIO M589I --------$108 Number of Channels: 2 RMS Power (4 ohms): 150 watts x 2 chan. Well, it depends on the subs. Are they DVC? What ohms are they? If they are single coils @ 4ohm then you'll want to look at something in the 2ohm stable area. If they are DVC @ 4ohm then you'll need somethin in the 1ohm stable area.
I was gonna say the HIFONICS amp until I saw the specs. Man, I had a Zeus amp about 10years ago that was something like 1000 watts RMS @ 12v. Man have they really cheapened their stuff. Sorry, need more info on the subs before I can say. Personally, out of that list, I'd say none of them since they are only 4ohm mono stable.

the subs are 2 12" RE REs...
they are dual 4 ohms... what ohms could i go with? |
