Satellite radio for a 99 Taurus
I have a 99 Taurus SE sedan. I was wondering how hard it would be to install a Satellite radio unit to go along with the stock stereo? Does the stereo have any RCA inputs, or would have have to use an FM tuner? I have the optional CD changer if that matters at all.

Re: Satellite radio for a 99 Taurus
the stereo does not have RCA Inputs, you would have to use an FM Modulator

Do those work generally well? I had one a few years back for my CD player, and the sound quality just wasnt that great and had a lot of static, granted I do live in Chicago. maybe they work better now. I do notice a lot of the FM modualtor type.

There is an adapter cable that can go to the cd changer that will can hook up directly so you don't have to use a modulated signal.
go to someone that installs stereos and have them look it up for you Mike
