Blown oil pan gasket

Yesterday I went to change my oil and discovered that I have a blown oil pan gasket. I had a mechanic check it, but he won't do the work because he's not familiar with it. I will be taking it to the dealership
Monday. I was wondering if they will have to pull the engine to do the replacement. If anyone has had this done, what's it going to run me?

Also, I want to put 18''x7.5's with a low profile tire on my car, and was wondering if they will tuck alright. It's a 2001 GP GT.

I'm the wrong guy to ask about the rims. I think anything over 17" is ugly.
The motor has to be "raised" not removed. Cost, I would get that before the even look. Dealer may have different prices from city to cities.

what's it going to run me?

IIRC it's about 500 bucks.I had oil pan gasket and rear main seal replaced and it was almost 1200 bucks at that time it was under warranty. 98% of the cost is labor.

It depends on the offset of the rim.

The best size tire to keep the speedo correct would be a 245/45-18.
