installing an alpine 1006 on top of factory radio
hey all,
Was wondering if i can install an alpine 1006 monitor on top of the honda accord fatory radio and have both of them work? My wife loves the radio with the factory changer and i want to put the 1006 right above the radio so we can watch movies. I know i can get the changer and put it in the factory location, but was wondering if this option is possible? Thank you, Harry |

dont think so. it is possible but you would have a problem with the speaker wires to the car. you would have to use the same for both radios, and that could kill the radios if they were both turned on at the same time. if watching tv is what you want, and you still want the factory radio, just buy a regular 7 " screen and connect it to a dvd player, use a fm modulater to get the sound through your factory speaker, and there you go. this should cost you about $300 in parts.
