F1 flash animation

It's a crappy first attempt, but I hope you guys enjoy it.

I have ideas for a few more, but before I tell or show them to you, I would like to ask for your suggestions.

Thumbs up Allright by me

I'll give you a big thumbs up. I like it a lot. The only thing that could be better is the resolution. Good job.

Re: F1 flash animation

It's an ftp site I know about. My own site is allowing me to log in, but I can't seem to be able to write to it at the moment, and my ISP is out of town till Monday.

Re: F1 flash animation

Anyone have other ideas for animations they'd like to see?

Here's one I am thinking of. I would call it Return to Base.
Start off underwater, looking up.
Slowly rise to the top, light gets brighter.
Rotate view down to horizontal, across shimmering lake.
There's a haze in the distance, and through it, a bunch of clean buildings become visible slowly--it's a factory.
Now rotate view around lake, to other side, which is much closer.
On the banks, there is a McLaren F1.
It starts moving, and goes around lake, going faster and faster.
It goes around the lake to the factory building and stops.
A garage opens, and light spills out.
The car drives inside, and the door shuts.

Another follow-on to this would be (called Test Drive):
Garage door opens, car comes out.
View changes to that from a hovering helicopter.
Car turns corner and takes off down some roads that climb up into hills.
I haven't developed it much beyond this, but I guess you would see it cornering hard, stopping hard to let some sheep/cows cross the road, dicing with bikers, whatever.

You guys have any suggestions?

It's an FTP site you KNOW about? Explain, how by means other than contact with TVRFreak you know about this FTP server? How do I go about registering a username and password for this server so that I may also make use of it? I think there's more here than you're admitting to...

Also, when I look at...

www.mclarenfreak.com
www.tvrfreak.com

I can't help but notice similarities between the web pages.

Are you really TVRFreak in disguise, or are you just trying to be like him because you know him?

Re: F1 flash animation

Someone here, after asking permission, gave me that ftp location and login and pwd. If you have access to it, you will see tons of directories of people on this board. Shoot tvrfreak an email and he might give you access too.

I know lots of ftp logins and pwds, amanichen. What you are getting so excited about? There's no similarities between the webpages except for common elements that a lot of web pages have--there can't be. They were designed by different people, and one is a static site, while the other one is generated. I think tvrfreak did his own pages--they look pretty crappy to me, and a lot of the links don't work. A professional programmer is working on mine and I sure hope it's better than that.

Oh, and I am really Gordon Murray in disguise. But I try to be like Ron Denis.

Don't you think this is getting off the thread topic? Got any ideas for flash animations?

Whatever route you decide to take with this scenario, I think it would be nice to see it end with the car parked in some scenic location, and have both of the doors open simultaneously, and then have the image fade out.

Just an idea.
