The Dealer is fishy

Just last week, I posted on here about my right door mirror broke. I made the mistake of asking the Dealer to order me a new one. Before I could get back to cancel the order, they called to say the new one was IN. When I went to pick it up (oh, what the heck).. I find that they'd ordered the wrong color. They then tell me that they can ONLY order parts based on the VIN number. And according to my VIN number, the mirror ASM should be green. NO- its black plastic. Needless to say, I DID get my money back, and then the Parts Manager called me a b^%tch and barked like a dog in my face. Gee- I can tell they really want my business... Live and learn.
I've now contacted 3 different Parts Yards off of www.car-part.com and is awaiting their replies.

Re: The Dealer is fishy

It always amazes me the way some places treat their customers. It's like they are begging to go out of business. If you do not have any luck with the car parts site, give St. Charles a call. They know how to treat their customers.

... and if you're not having luck emailing car-parts.com folks, just call them up.

Look at the bright side. Atleast he didn't hump your leg! I too have not met too many parts, service or collision mangers that were worth being their. Car-parts should come thru for you. If not, there's always stcharlesauto.com
G/luck!

As a followup, I sent email to all my Rodeo owner friends this morning, and one of them sent the message to the Dealer. I just off the phone with them. They said that I'll be receiving a letter of apology, plus coupons for some FREE stuff. I said a coupon for a FREE timing belt replacement would make me REAL happy.

The thought of jerking him across the counter and opening a can of whomp-a!@ on him did cross my mind. But I wanted to make sure I got my refund. I would have never called Customer Service and complained.. I just wont go back, but someone else thought they needed to know. After a 20 minute chat, the CS lady says "so you're not bothered by the price, you're bother by the attitude of the service people".. Well ya! If I have to pay out the butt, must it come complete with thorns????? LOL!

Re: The Dealer is fishy

If it was me, I would have immediately called up the manager, complained, bitched them out and told them that not only was I never gonna return, but that I would go online and tell everyone never tog o there, along with call isuzu to complain. And when they offer me coupons for crappy service, I would complaina bout them trying to insult me and demand that I should get the mirror free. (so i've done stuff like that before, and its amazing how quickly you can get what you want then.
