Listen to this !!!

took my car into mitsubishi to have it diagnos'd... my rear turbo wasnt boosting at all.... i figured it was a leak and decided to let them fix it since i had 0 time.

ok well they call today and said there is a vacum hose that is connected to my wastgate on the rear turbo... that has a HUGE hole in it... they would have to special order the hose and it would take about 3-4 days for it to come in.... well they gave me a price 229 dollars.... FOR A HOSE!? is this right? anyone know exactly what kind of hose they are talking about... and can point me in a direction so i might be able to change it myself? thanks!

I'd help you out but I hate you cause you got boost and I dont!

nah j/k, call another mitsu dealer and ask them how much the hose is, if not there are tons of places online that sell OEM mitsu parts.

good luck bro.

lol, just take a small sample of your wastegate hose to autozone, have them match it up and buy a couple of feet of hose, then just cut the appropriate length and connect it to the wastegate yourself

Re: Listen to this !!!

Axles are pretty cheap to buy new or remanned. You can get them for $50-$80 at any auto parts store.
