'94 accord raidio troubles

i bought a 94 accord lx. The car came with a factory radio and cd player and the previous owner replaced it with an aftermarket cd player. He then took it out and put in the original when he sold the car. The radio worked but he could never get the cd player to work. Is there any way i can fix it?

Re: '94 accord raidio troubles

Probably can be repaired but the cost may exceed the cost of a new radio. The problem could be an easy fix like cleaning the lens, or very difficult like failed components. That is just the way things are in this day of throw away products.

mpumas is right...the cheapest way to go if you want to 'fix' the current cd player is try buyin those lens cleanin kits. if that doesnt work...you're probably just looking at a bad cd player. you can find after market cd players now starting at 89.99. best place to look for good deals on audio equipment is ebay IMO.
