WTB S13 240sx

I'm looking for an S13 in the chicagoland area. It has to be either a fastback or convertible. I will look at coupes but it will have to be a good price.

Nothing with an SR or KAT. Preferably no alarms or aftermarket sound systems. Wiring harness has to be in good condition - both the body and engine harness. If you installed aftermarket rims that are chrome or have any kind of weird looking pattern on them, i will have to have the stock wheels or 4 donuts- i won't even consider buying the car if it has weird ass 'dubs' on it and you can't get me normal wheels.

Must have a manual transmission, unles its a convertible. Minimal rust and it has to be repairable. Some slight dings and dents are acceptable, but nothing on the quarterpanels or doors.

Goodluck man, took me about 6 months to finally find an s13. You do know you could look in the tribune, sun times, Autotrader, Cars.com, and the Southtown tho correct. Yes I am from the same area as you so don't be lazy, go look around.

Re: WTB S13 240sx

Finding one in good condition for a good price is tough. They are either beat up or unreasonably expensive.

I do know about the newspapers, and online listings - thats why i'm posting here. BTW monooxide, if thats your car its a hell of a find.

The coupe is more fit for racing, but i love the way a fastback looks. Its a matter of personal opinion - some people like the coupe more. The coupe's rear end seems too outdated to me. I'm willing to sacrafice a couple pounds just to suit my preference.

Re: No thats not mine

wow.. good luck with that one. S13's are generally beat up or already messed with... (like everyone said). Just keep looking at minor trade sites... the mainstream sites are too fast to keep up with unless you're online 24/7. nice choice about the fastback but i don't understand your reasoning for the convertible... you don't like the coupe back but you don't mind the conv... it's the same (but worse because the conv is even heavier.)
