Tamiya's 911 GT3

For any of you that have built up Tamiya's 911 GT3, I have a quick question. Step two, painting the bottom of the chassis, it says to paint a few sections in X-18 (black) and a few in XF-16 (flat aluminum). It also shows painting the front part the "body color" which on mine will be that chrome yellow. Am I supposed to pain the whole chassis other than the parts specifically labeled X-18 and XF-16 yellow, or just that front part? I have a hard time believing that I'm supposed to leave the whole underside of the chassis, other than a few parts, that gray it comes in off the sprue. It just doesn't look very nice.

Paint the whole thing body color, and then mask off and paint the black areas and siver details.

Okay good...that makes more sense. I wish they were a little clearer with the directions. They point X-18 and XF-16 on multiple areas, but only "body color" on one little area. Makes it seem like that's all they want painted.

MPWR and P-MAN - I've go to ask this...do you guys use masking tape or maskol to mask off? They way you manage to mask of those tiddly bits and in the tight spaces is awsome!! I had real fun trying to mask of my boxter underside and even gave up on those "pipe lines" (

Also, my kit has four little bump things on the back bumper area. Two are just above the top corners of the lisence plate area, and the other two are just wider than that. They look like they could actually be part of the car, but I don't see them in the actual car (at least on the pictures I was able to find).
