What size injectors and what des # mean

Hi, I was wonder what size injectors go in a 97 Taurus wagon with the duratech 24V engine. I have a miss (code 302) that I think is the injector. I made an inector cleaner from a steel bottle and ran a mixture of 50% seafoam in gas through fule rail at 47 PSI with the suply and return hose hooked together. This helped some but it still misses so I thought I would replace the injector a friend has some 19# injectors that I can have but I do not know if they are right size. Does the pound sign mean 19 pounds of fuel per hour?

Thanks

jeff

Yea. I have no idea about what the stock injectors are, but if they're different, he'll need to send his MAF in for recalibration. I run 19lbs. injectors in a 2.9L with a street/drag cam. Instead of getting things calibrated, IST makes a little tool called an 'Air Adjuster' that adjusts the voltage from the MAF to the computer with the turn of a screw. It takes a lot of time to get it calbrated in. The cheapest way is to just get the correct injector...
