Remote engine oil filter failure

I am a new member to this forum and I am looking to learn as much as possible about these trucks. Likes, dislikes and possible traps. I did a search on this remote engine oil filter failure issue but had no luck. Can someone tell me what I need to be on the look out for here? My '92 Jimmy is in great shape and I want to keep it that way. Thanks in advance for any insight you can give me.

Re: Remote engine oil filter failure

On the remote oil filters you have to watch out for leaking oil cooler lines..I have to replace mine this weekend..

Yip, check the oil lines going to and from the oil filter assembly.
