3.1 to 305TPI need help

hi i have a 85 camaro z28 with a 305 TPI and a 90 camaro rs with a 3.1 v6 in it. i plan a swapping the 305 into the rs car.(less rust and t tops) i was wondering if the 3.1 fuel pump would work for the larger engine.also the connector that comes from the dash somwhere and hooks up to the computer doesnt have a wire where the 305 computer connector has one, i was just wondering if id have to change the whole harness under the dash or is it somthn i wont need. any suggestions about anything that would help me are appreciated. thanks

Re: 3.1 to 305TPI need help

im not entirely sure about the fuel pump, but if you hook it up, and its delivering 40psi or thereabouts, your probly fine.

as for the wiring, im not really sure what your talking about, there are alot of wires underneith there. not to sound like a dick, but your gonna have to trace it and find out what it goes to in order to find out if youll need it or not, i cant say from it being described as a wire weather or not youll need it.
