Custom Fiberglass sub box

I was thinking about moulding a sub box for my trunk out of fiberglass. It can easily be done with mdf too. Has anyone made a fiberglass box, or know of any problems with them?

Re: Custom Fiberglass sub box

I've run across some guys page on Cardomain.com and he had his entire back end, from the top of the passenger seat to the "trunk" portion in the rear. It looked really sweet, I wish I could find a link to his page. I'd definately say go for it though. It's always nice to see someone do somthing different, rather than buying one of those custom fit enclosures.

Re: Custom Fiberglass sub box

i actually just built my own custom box for the hatch of my camaro. I was going to cover mine in fiberglass, but decided to go with a turf material.. was less expensive and time consuming... and it looks sweet
