240 300 parts interchange

Does anyone know if any rear suspension 240sx parts are interchangable with the 300 rear parts.
Does the 300 even have the independent rear? I just assumed it would.

As well, has anyone used the aftermarket rear adjustable arms such as the JDM? If so are they strong? I will be racing this car so the chances of a hit in the rear wheel is a real one. I have already bent the upper and a traction bar once and would like to avoid that again.

Any other advice is gladly accepted. Other possible swaps, aftermarkets? I have also considered making my own adjustable rear control arms. Anyone done that yet that may have advice?
Thanks

Is JDM like a company or something? Do you know what JDM means?

Ya thanks for the heads up smart ass
Coming from the dirt ranks where we use all domestic stuff (chassis, suspension, engines) I have little to no experience with offshore parts. All of the stuff I use on my dirt modified are made in the US, Canada or my own shop. In fact we avoid offshore stuff like the plague cause it is mostly crap and breaks easily. I assumed that the offshore stuff for the imports might be of better quality and was looking for an experienced opinion.
So if you have something constructive to add please feel free to help me out.
Consider that I have probably been building "quality" race and street cars longer than you have been driving. So if you just want to try and get a better flame than the next guy move to another thread.
if you want to talk shop and learn from each other then thats why I'm here.
Thanks for the time to rant
I look forward to some opinions on this stuff

I think same of the US products, most american cars (if not all), parts and a lot of other things have very little life resource. Most cars start leaking oil, parts break and everything just starts to fall apart. I don't want to offend you, it is your opinion, and this is mine.

Re: 240 300 parts interchange

He's talking about american aftermarket parts. And for Japanese cars, some of the best parts are from Japan.

Re: 240 300 parts interchange

well to each his own... but i'd gotta say aftermarket japan parts are much more higher in quality.

I'm hoping dirttracker isn't thinking "import parts" are the same as the ones you find on his subscription of "honda tuners". They just "pretend" to be JDM... it's all made right here... in the God blessed US soil.

But hey if you worked with american cars... then i'm sure american parts would be superior for obvious reasons. there is no JDM(off-shore) parts for USDM cars. lolz...

300's generally cost more than 240's... so why get a Z that's just as old as your 240 to get parts from. Just get another half wrecked 240 and interchange those.

But of course if your looking for aftermarket that's a whole different thing. JDM is not just a single brand... i don't know if it was just me but it sounded like you were refering to it as if it was a company or something.

i think PDM racing has parts you can look through. As well as Enjuku Racing or Jspec.com
