Iroc with no power options??

I thought all Irocs had power windows, locks, etc.

Was there something strange about this arangement when it came out? I know the car is an Iroc for sure.

When the IROC first came out, it was basically stripped to be lightweight, which obviously explains why theres no A/C. So yes the Maro is an IROC, just probably one of the first ones.

Re: Iroc with no power options??

you could order it however you wanted. if you didnt want the power stuff, you could order it deleted. just like any other model. I dont think the power stuff was part of the IROC package, just that most people who spent the money on the IROC spent the money on the other stuff too.

Really? I thought the very first year IROCs came with no a/c, power windows, and a manual trans.

Re: Iroc with no power options??

nope, even the first year irocs could be had with the TBI 305 and an automatic if you wanted. the IROC was just the Z28 after all. and the Z28 hasnt been a stripped down showroom race car since 1969. or 1970 if you wanna still count the LT1 powered version.
