01 pt tcm problem

ok i have an 01 cruiser that has sat all winter. I went to take it out for the first time and had no speedo or shifting. I have no communication with the tcm and have been thru the books wiring tests to no avail. I even hooked up another tcm (not same year or model but should have at least communicated) and nothing. i have visually inspected all the wiring and can find nothing out of the ordinary anyone with any suggestions?

1st does your pcm have one connector or four ,second your problem sounds like a bad output speed sensor which is very common for the 41te trans the ouput speed sensor is white located to the far right next to the shift solenoid. if the tcm is not seen by the pcm than the code should exsist in the pcms stored memory . your tcm is in limp in mode meaning you have only 2nd gear
