differential problems

i'm thinking to replace my differential. Can anyone tell me if i can use a differential from an automatic? does it have to be turbo or can it be N/A? HELP!

Search, this has been covered atleast five times. Why do you want to replace it though? Since I'm posting I'll go ahead and give the run down of the US rear gear ratios. The automatic and manual option makes no difference.
- all n/a rear gear are 4.3:1 open differential (sport package got an LSD)
- all 87-88 turbo are 3.909:1 LSD
- all 89-92 turbo are 3.73:1 LSD
