I'm creating FrankenBuick!

Hey guys,

As you all know my '93 PA is officially dead. The tranny is getting pulled today and installed in the "new" '94 LeSabre. I'd like to pull some other parts from the PA and put them in the LeSabre over the weekend. Here's what I'd like to swap. Can anyone offer suggestions on these ideas?

Gauge Cluster. The PA has a full gauge cluster, unlike the LeSabre which has idiot lights. Is it a direct swap? I know I'll also have to change sensors for oil pressure and temp.

Front and Rear Seats. The PA has leather seats. The fronts shouldn't be too bad, except that I will have to swap tracks from the passenger seats because it's not power on the LeSabre(is it hard to wire in the controls in the door??). I'll have to wire in the power seatback though. Is the rear seat a direct swap? I'm nearly positive it is

Carpet. It looks like crap in the LeSabre. I'm not sure if it will fit or not because the PA is a longer wheelbase, but since I'll have the seats out already it's worth a shot.

Stereo. Easy swap; the PA has a much better one than the LeSabre.

Door/Trunk Locks. The LeSabre didn't come with a door key. If it's going to be too hard I'll just have a locksmith cut a new set of keys.

Automatic Headlamps. Just because I like the feature and I don't think it'll be too hard since I'll have the dash half disassembled.

I'd love to move the dual zone climate control system but I know that would take all weekend(at least) to do just that!

Any other thoughts?

Jonathan
