Unhappy 97 corner turn signals

recently I changed the bulbs for the corner turn signals as they were both out. I changed them fine and they turned on with the parking lamps, the only problem is they dont flick when they turn signal is on, they stay on the whole time while the rear and front signals flick on and off. Did i get the wrong bulb? i thought i heard someone say that those are supposed to stay on but that doesnt make sense, they should be flicking on and off right? thanks

check you dont have other turn signal bulbs are out. But I would first check you replaced with the right bulbs.

I think it is normally it is the 194 but check with autozone.com or ford.com partsamerica.com for the numbers. (we dont know what car you have)

I have a 97 and had to change the side marker bulbs at around 90k. Mine are not made to blink. But, maybe I am missing something because I have seen them blinking on other Escorts. Why would some and not others? Please post a reply. Thanks.

i have found when it dont blink there is either the wrong bulbs or ones in the back are out (the flasher part in the bulb there are two filiments inside one for flash and one for light)

Re: 97 corner turn signals

OK so help me out here. when the lights are on all the lights are on, front and back all light up. the brake lights i know work, although i havent looked to see if all the turn signals in the back work. so its possible for the lights to be on, but for the blinker to not work? and what is the exact bulb incase i have the wrongs ones but im pretty sure i have 194 Side Marker bulbs, they are yellow. I also tried the clear ones but those did the same thing (parking lights worked, but the turn signals did not) Thanks
