Where does this go??????
I am replacing an engine on a 1990 b2200. I have everything hooked back up except for a few little things here and there. One thing that is driving me crazy is the wire that comes off of the electric choke on the carbuerator. WHere does this thing hook up? It comes off of the electric choke and i can't find the connector where it is supposed to go. Any help would be appreciated.

The connector goes to the back of the alternator.
On the early ones, it goes to the upper back of the alternator. On the later ones, they go to the lower back of the alternator. It will help if you drive the front on a ramp to raise it and loook under the truck directly below the back of alternator. If you know somebody with same truck, just trace the wire and you'll find what I'm talking about. |
