Camaro Greatness

Have any of you evr been stopped by someone for them to tell you how great your car is? I was at the gas station the other day and this guy pulls up and starts talking about my car. Asking me if i wanted to sell it, cuz he used to have back in his day and wishes he still had it. My brother thinks my car is the best in the world. I was comparing my car to others that i know would beat it in its current state(Supra, 300zx, 3000GT), but he still thinks my car is a beast. Just makes me greatly appreciate the camaro even more. Damn, i love camaros, why did it have to get canceled...(camaro, are you gonna leave is for ever? please come back soon )

My friend has an 87 RS that looks identical to yours. I think it's awesome, even for a 5.0 automatic. I'd definately choose a Camaro over any of those imports.

Re: Camaro Greatness

I always have people trying to BUY my car...Then i tell them no and it's like story time about their younger days when they used to have a camaro etc..etc...

What all do you have done because it'd take alot for a 3rd gen to beat a TT supra or a TT300 or a VR4 3000...

Yeah those cars would rape me, its just my brother thinks my car is invincible. He thinks camaros are the beastlyest looking cars ever. I can agree with him on that one though. She does look mean and beautiful at the sametime.

Yeah you can say that. My littlle sister wants me to give her my 84 maro when he turns 16. My pops and his father drag raced chevys all there life(not anymore though, gramps passed and pops just fixes cars now), but i guess they did some good raising though.

Re: Camaro Greatness

I had a guy see my car and come over to offer me a job. Apparently I looked like the type of person who wants to make the easy money. Unfortunately it was one of those pyramid schemes, so I told him to get bent.

Re: Camaro Greatness

Ah i see, i didn't read it well enough i guess. I was kinda rushing to post something in the McLaren F1 board before i had to run up to school for class (final today). I to enjoy the comments and people's faces as i drive my car by...Part of the reason i love my camaro so much.

I saw a Buick GN for the first time(in person) at a big swap meet in St. Louis this past weekend... No, he wasn't selling it though, he drove it there, and I saw it in the lot, and then him and the car at the gas station afterwards. I really wanted him to open it up, but he never did.

I use to get out of tickets all the time in my Vette, they would be like nice car. Now take it easy. Doesn't work in the Z3 or Formula though.
