Keep Blowing a Fuse

The deck out of my car was recently stolen. After I bought a new one and installed it i keep having this problem blowing a fuse. The fuse i blow isnt the one that runs the deck though because the deck runs fine, it is the one that powers the clock in the car and the dash lights. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Keep Blowing a Fuse

When they stole the previous deck did they just rip it out? Chances are that if they did you have a damaged wire in there somewhere. Look around for missing/damaged insulation, disconnected wire. Those bastards!!!! Good Luck!!

Re: Keep Blowing a Fuse

Well, if you got a different model radio (more powerful) the fuse may not have the right amperage, so try changing the fuse to more.
