Appearance Mods
I am looking for suggestions on what sorts of decals would be a worthwhile option to add to my 4th generation Firebird.
The dealer has offered to throw in any decals and striping for no charge so I want to take them up on it. They offered a pin stripe and to fill in the PONTIAC letters on the rear with a color of my choice.

Hmm... they never offered me THAT!
 Oh well... I'm not much into bargaining anyway. To answer your question... me personally, NO pinstriping!!!! On a T/A? God forbid! The fill-in... I guess that won't do too much damage. If your really interested in that sort of thing... do a search on "firebat decals". It's not a huge manufacturer but the guy does a decent job.

actually i have pinstripping on my T/A it's dark green with a small gold pinstripe on it, the dealer put it on when they took the car in, actually looks pretty cool, nobody else has a pinstripe on theirs, here check it out (i know its dark but you can get the idea): http://65.31.88.111/bk041502/pic62.jpg

Hey, that pinstriping doesn't look too bad... I was thinking about some of the major ones that I've seen with outlines of flowers and animals etc.
*take foot out of mouth* That's a nice car you've got.

Forget pinstriping, if they're going to do some stuff to the car for free, get them to put replica stripes on it, like from a CE TA, or a 30th anniversary TA. Silver would look bad ass.

"Powered by Honda" on front side panels... "iV-tec" on windshield... "TRD" on rear glass... "Twin Turbo" on doors... "BLOWN" on vanity plates... chevy emblem rear bumper... "Z06" emblem on rear quarter panels... "Type R" diagonal across hood... am I forgetting anything else?

hehehe thats funny as far as decals go I like the decals across the front window (I got one on mine you can see it on my iste and see what you think) oh and Irwier about those little 3rd gen birds I actually took those off of mine the smooth look looks better (in my oppinion) but it would be kinda cool one of those blending old with new things.

he he, I don't have any pics top show, do to being poor and whatnot, but I made my own decal and put it on the back window of my 84' Firebird that says "Powered by Satan".
