need help
i have a '95 jimmy that is having running problems. it will start but not stay running. when driving down the road no problems seem to be occuring but when i come to a stop it stalls. in order to get it to start i have to press the gas pedal as i turn it over and then it starts right away. i replaced the O2 sensors and i still have the problem. i disconnected the exhaust pipes to see if the problem was a plugged cat and i still had the same problem. any and all help is greatly appreciated. thank you to all who help.

Re: need help
Remove and clean carbon chunks from your egr valve and reinstall with a new EGR gasket.
Also, you might start looking into your CPI injector failing and causing the carbon build up. Use the search feature in the jimmy or blazer forum for more information. The CPI injector and EGR valve problem has been talked about 100's of times.
