Locking your 3S

Do any of you lock your car? I have an aftermarket alarm system but I still lock my car with a club. Hehe During the day I usually don't lock it but at night, definitely! Like my friend said...."no one's stealing that sucka!" Hehe So yeah, anyone else lock their cars?

Yes I lock my car . Have you seen our cars? What theif wouldn't like to have one? But seriously, I lock it during the day (I only drive it 4-5 times per week while I'm here at school and it sits in the parking garage the rest of the time) and when I'm home, it's always locked, even when it's parked in my driveway. I lock it at night when it's in my garage too. What can I say, I'm overprotective.

^^ I used to do that when I first got it; well the parking far away, not taking up 2 spots... that's a good way to get your car keyed or hit. Trust me, I've seen it happen more than once. People tend to not be real tolerant of other people thinking their cars are too nice to only use 1 spot like everybody else. Now I realize that that is true for our car's, they are too nice for just one, but other people still don't like it lol. And my alarm is going on within the next month or so... but until then hands off.

Re: Locking your 3S

Yes you can, but most big places dont care enough, its only if you were taking up 2 spaces and there werent enough spaces for everyone else.

Interesting....how about the whole towing deal? Would the store, say Best Buy, have to be the one to call the towe department or could a cop call and have our car towed?

Re: Locking your 3S

The store would have to call, the cops can not tow you if you are on private property, that is unless they chase you on to private property, but even then its sketchy and they would need a damn good reason to do it(like you car is evidence in a crime).
