Stereo reset...HELP!

I have a 2000 GAlant and my battery died a few months ago. After I got it going again my stereo was asking me for a password. I didn't have it. I guess it's in a red card that came with the car but i dont know what happened to it.
Anyway, is there anyway around that without having to buy a new strereo or take it to the dealer?

You should be able to call around to the dealer and find one who is willing to give you the info for free.

Pull the front dashbord cover around the radio. Open the ac controlers and then look on the bottom of the radio fro serial numbers. ANy dealer will give you code if you have serial number.
