|
I need help identifying the name of the part that connects to the thermostat housing and holds thermostat. This part also holds the two coolent temp sensors. The part is about 3/4 of a foot long by 4 inches by 4 inches in size. It also has the heater bypass hose connecting to it. My car is a 1990 Chevorlet Cavalier 2.2 ltr OHV. Someone please let me know what this part is called.

Try taking a pic and and draw an arrow. Sounds like you're possibly referring to a thermostat housing, but that's way too big for that.
