We do not condone bad behavior in here. It's criminals like you that make the world a bad place. Get a job and stop getting into sticky situations. Thats all we need is a bunch clowns driving fast with no lights.

Re: brake light kill switch

If you find out how, let me know. My friend wants to do the same thing to his car. And it's better than having to pull the e-brake when you see a cop, or when your radar detector goes off.

Now days when your radar goes off you are already popped. Just think of the number of times you will get pulled over when you forget to turn em back on........HAHAAAAAAAAAAAA

reasons for having no brake lights.

1) to better decrease visibility at night when stealing someones car.
2) to better hide your tracks when being chased by the police or someone else.
3) to decrease identification of the car at night.

i was bad in my youngin days. the only intention of having a switch to kill the brake lights are bad intentions. ive done it a while back on a ford festiva. its simple.................just think, how to i cut the power supply to the brake lights and still be able to put it back easily whenever i want to (hints...........think switches ) wiring and a switch is what you will need..............ghetto, but, it works.

just dont forget to flip it back on when you have your goods in the back............you may get pulled over

Re: brake light kill switch

if u need to brake passing a copthen it usualy means ur going too fast so slow down drive the speed limit and save some gas. i dont see any smart reasons to do this other than wanting to get arrested

Re: brake light kill switch

Who cares about getting caught by the cops. Speed limits are there for your safety and the safety of others. I got busted for a DWAI 6 years back. Being pulled over is 100 times better then killing someone and being behind bars for 40+ years. Think about it the next time an officer pulls you over. I hate drivers who think they are bad a$$' and drive all f'ed up. I heard bicycle's don't have brake lights so get a job, and buy yourself a bicycle. BTW, if you are asking a question on how to wire a switch, forget the job and go to school.

Just put a single pole toggle switch in series with your brake lights 12vdc supply, if you turn it off the light won't receive any voltage and walla no lights.

DWAI = Driving While Alcohol Imparied, lesser charge then DUI http://www.dui-help.com/dwai-dui-colorado.html
E Honda, You think I am "proud" of my DWAI? I said that it is 100 times better to get caught by the police then kill someone. Where the hell do you see me saying that I am "proud"? Don't be the cool one here, so get your facts straight before you open your mouth.

So let me get this right. You came here to learn because you want to kill your lights so the cops can't see you driving drunk. Now I got it.......It's all good...... What about driving drunk and killing someone. What about having someone fly into the ass of your car and getting killed because thet could not see your lights because you were to drunk to remember to flip the switch back on.

Go away you are starting to bore me.
Try living by the laws instead of looking for a way to beat them. KEEP YOUR DRUNK ASS OFF THE ROAD WITH OR WITHOUT LIGHTS.

Look here kiddo........I know first hand what it is like to suffer first hand by the stupidity of a drunk. I am sure if you lose someone to the hand of someone who decides to drink and drive your outlook will be different. I don't care if it was 26 years ago. It has been against the law to drive drunk then just as it is now. I am sure you don't know what it is like to have to suffer due to someone elses ingnorance. So your opinion means 0 to me.

E Honda, what the hell is your problem? Did I ask or "want to learn" about the brake kill switch? Take a look. Let me help you, NO. Don't try to treat me like a piece of $hit or bring me down to your level. How else do you want me to tell you. I guess I have to yell it to you, I DO NOT CONDONE DRINKING AND DRIVING! I DO NOT CONDONE ANY ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES. What part are you missing from this statement "Being pulled over is 100 times better then killing someone and being behind bars for 40+ years. " At least you will have a chance to learn your lesson. If asthatchb18c1 opinion(which you should change to "statement") means nothing, then why do you respond? Must mean something to you.
