Spark control switch/module location/info
I (rather my wife) has a 1995 Grand Prix, 3.1V6, 205,000 miles.
The guy at the parts store scanned it and said it was the ignition module, so I replaced that but the check engine light was still one. Scanned it again and said it was the spark control switch, but they couldn't tell me which switch it was (apparently there are multiple varieties?). Anyone have any idea of what it is or where it is located? |

Re: Spark control switch/module location/info
They have to order the part, so I can't look at it. Plus, oftentimes things are very well hidden, even when you know what you're looking for. I'm checking with the Pontiac dealership; sometimes the service guys are helpful (for free).
