95-tsi

I am looking into getting a 95- tsi auto, and swapping it to a 5spd. but am not sure if it is awd or fwd. it has 113000 on the oil change sticker, and can not get in touch with the owner yet for more details, but will soon. What do you guys think about that? good car ? rebuild engine and tranny start fresh with everything?

find out more info about the car first. any mods done yet? see if you can do a compression check and vacuum leak test. swapping it over to a 5spd is nothing easy but if you have enough ambition to do it, go for it. if you plan modding the car heavily, i would say re-build the motor and start fresh but if you are just planning on swapping in a few mods to get it a little quicker, stick with that same motor. why fix it if it's not broken?
