Hood Pins

1st thing off APC Hood Pins suck I've had them for less than a month and they've started rusting, it looks like I'm buying some Sparco stainless steel hood pins.

Does anyone have any idea how to install the Sparco spring type hood pins? It kinda looks like you gotta drill holes in 2 different places. But there doesn't seem to be enough hardware. Of course they didn't come with any instructions.

Just remember, You can't spell crap without APC

don't ever buy APC stuff, just like you shouldn't buy lite-on stuff for your computer.

Re: Hood Pins

I was in a fix since this car is the only registered car I have so I ran over to the local autozone type store and grabbed something.

Since I can't figure out how to use these sparco spring type hood pins. I think I got the Idea I just don't want to drill more holes in my car. Gotta order the other type now.

lol, you shouldn't need them unless you have a CF or fiberglass hood, and only then if you drive real fast :P

Re: Hood Pins

yah, I got a CF hood. I was freaking out thinking about my hood flying off and breaking my windshield at high way speeds.
