Looking for new exhaust piece: muffler
I am getting like 300 dollars for selling something, so im gonna take every penny of that and put it towards my car. So, I figured.. why not everyone else has a muffler, who not just get one too. Though I know I should get a whole new cat-back exhaust, but im not that rich right now.. (speaking of which, can you do a conversion from the 91 stealth rt exhaust to a 91 stealth rt/tt dual exhaust?) and I was looking on Andy's Auto Sport and came across this muffler. The only thing I dont like about this place is that they dont give you a lot of information on some of the products.
I know that this isnt much information at all, but this is all they gave me. Can some one help me out to make sure that the demension is right? Its called Matrix GSX-90

If you're going single shot exhaust, you could do a whole cat-back for $300. Trust me, did mine for a little under $300. ($75 for muffler, $35 for tips and $100 for piping+labor). A dual out might be a little more since you'd need a little more piping but still shouldn't be all too much.
Yes you could put an R/T TT exhaust on your car if you wanted. People do it all the time actually. Go with a Dynomax muffler (they sound awesome ) and get an exhaust shop that does good work and you can ahve a real nice cat-back.

Re: Looking for new exhaust piece: muffler
Alright, instead of just getting a different muffler, do you know where I could find Dodge Stealth TT Headers and pretty much the full exhaust .. the stock one.. maybe used or new. Also.. would the TT Headers fit with an RT

Ok, cat-back for under $300 = easy. headers for under $300 = no way lol. To get a TT cat-back, you're probably going to have to buy it from another member (try the parts for sale section on 3si). As far as "the whole exhaust" is concerned, your looking at around $300 for cat-back, $30 for a testpipe (or alot more if you get a hi-flow cat
) and then around #300 for a downpipe and even more for headers (depends on whether you get long tubes or shorties).

Re: Looking for new exhaust piece: muffler
The VR4 exhausts cost about $100 and apparently sound good on the NAs, get a NA 2.5" testpipe while your at it off of ebay I Just bought a 3" TT one for $20, dunno how if it would mate up with the VR4 exhaust but I bet it will. I dunno about headers, you can't use TT headers since they would have a huge gap where the turbos were lol.

When I and other people talked about getting a TT exhaust, we meant just a cat-back. For TT headers and dp and full cat-back, it's gonna be alot more expensive; not to mention the headers wouldn't even work on your car without alot of custom fab and crap (if they'd even work at all). If you want headers, they're gonna be expensive, then a downpipe (even if you get a used aftermarket one from someone) is still gonna be atleast $200 and then a test pipe and cat-back..... basically, you're not getting a full exhaust for $300; not even gonna come close. Like I said, for $300 you're pretty much looking at a testpipe and cat-back (and I'd still reccomend a custom cat-back over a used TT but that's just my personal preferance).
