Difference in Denali and HD 6.0L engines?
I've been doing some research for a new truck. I found on the GMC website that the 1500/2500HD's with the 6.0 have 300 horse/360 torque. The Denali trucks and Yukons with the 6.0 have 345 horse/380 torque.
What is the difference in the 2 motors to give the Denali's 45 more horse and 20 more ft/lbs????? |

Re: Difference in Denali and HD 6.0L engines?
It is a different engine, the 300hp 6.0L is an LQ4 i believe and the "high out-put" 345hp 6.0 is an LQ9. Im pretty sure can get both engine in a silvy or sierra, for a nice chunk to the stealership.
