:WIP: Body Dropped Explorer (56K warning)

Been working on this for the past 4 or 5 days.

Got a new camera (4MP Kodak CX7430 so I got a little carried away with the pics).

Went pretty much all out of this, I suicided the front doors and opened the rear hatch.

First, heres the kit.

Here's the first stages.

Here's the powerplant, it will be molded in when complete. It's out of a Concept 05' Mustang GT (450hp)

First door hinged.

Started hinging the rear hatch. I robbed the hinge from the Revell Caddilac Escalade.

I hated the back bumper so I started on a roll pan.

Now comes the fun, Scratchbuilding a new interior.

Started on the "tranny hump"

Pic of it next to my other builds:

More done on the interior.

Wheels and fuel cell that will go in when done.

It's not low enough, it needs to be as low as it can go. You know what, don't even bother putting the springs and shocks on, just have is sit all the way down. Looks like a fun project, keep up the work and updates.

Umm, It lays rockers.. How much lower can you go .

I'll have more progress shots after I get some more work done.
