Rear LCAs

Ok I have a 91 civic hatch STD *no rear sway nor holes for it*
I read today and heard few times before that any 89-00 will fit up no prob stock or Aftermarket.

I'd really like to snag a set and why not get some aftermarket while i'm doing it.

so would I be safe ordering a set of rear LCAs from a maker like SSR or getting ITRs ones?

I know I can get 4th gen SI ones but I rather take it up a step while i'm at it, and snagging anything for 4th gens is hard.

Keep the stock rear LCA's and go with a Suspension Techniques. It doesn't need the LCA holes because it mounts to the same place where the strut bolts. Make sure it's the adjustable rear bar, I think they have 2 types available. www.jegs.com has the front/rear or rear only kits for a good price. Take the money you saved and spend it on a good rear tie if you don't have one.

Re: Rear LCAs

for the rear you should look into Suspension Techniques Speedtech Sway Bar since it comes with a tie bar and a nice thick mounting bracket so you wont have to worry about your subframe tearing, dont quote me on this but some ppl told me that bar is 22mm. Modcar seems to have the best price I can find but shipping is 45

Re: Rear LCAs

the EK(96-00) Civic rear LCAs wont work from what ive heard; they are the same length but shaped differently. if you get the ITR ones, youd have to get a suspension meant specifically for the 88 civics, usdm itr, or jdm cars(rear mount is different).

if you got the cash, go for the Function-7s, theyre aluminum and look pretty trick and also include their own heim-joint sway bar mounts.

I have Koni Yellows and Skunk 2 coils rated to off hand 420 ft and 300 rear. I know i got the rating for a 4th gen with a B motor in it.

I'm tired and on a near high from a deal im working out but its hush hush so finding my rates now is tricky lol.
