Beefing up for performance
I have a lot of buddies at school with lifted trucks and aftermarket suspension parts I cant really afford. With 130K on my odometer I was thinking of doing some small replacements and mods. Does any one manufacture some good front wheel bearings and some stronger pitman and idler arms for the steering. I was thinking of some beefier tie rods too, (for the steering I'm looking at Moog and Spicer Chassis). I just generally wan't to increase reliability. I've already done a full underbody cleaning and painting, and I was thinking of any parts of the frame that flex like between the cab and bed. Any ideas like this or cheap mods? I'm not looking for anything fancy, just easy durability enhancers. Thanks, my friend's trucks kill in the fields, and mine is pretty stock.
