WIP: Saleen Mustang S-351 SC Speedster

One pic for now, I G2G, so I'll post details later.

It still has rubbing compound on it, and this is byfar one of my best paint jobs..

Re: WIP: Saleen Mustang S-351 SC Speedster

Heh, I guess the Saleen is more like a Clone Saleen. It never gave the numbers for the front bumper. (Each Saleen car is specifically numbered..), So i decided not to add the Saleen plate to the firewall.

Okay, heres the specifics...
Dupli-Color Super Red II base coat with Cardinal Red top coat, applied decals, then 3 coats of clear, wetsanded, and polished.

Other then that its box stock, except for a custom short shifter..

BTW, the exhaust looks like ass because I'm gonna hack off the tips, and add on some aluminum ones..

And what do you think of a fake intercooler? I mean, its got that big ass opening in the front bumper, but theres nothing inside...

A little size comparison..I wonder who would win in a head on wreck?

outside pics later..

Re: WIP: Saleen Mustang S-351 SC Speedster

I'm confused...is it red? The pics made me think at first that it was Beryllium Orange, an absolutely awesome Saleen color. I have another one of these kits, the first time I built it I did it in a black pearl, but the second time around I think I'm gonna tackle Victory Blue.

Did you glue the top on? I left mine loose so I can "drop the top" whenever I feel like it.
