Re: Hello

well if you can afford it...remember the insurances and all the things to pay to protect the car...
as a 1st car, it's a little hard.
i'm 18 years old, i'm planing to buy one in at least 2-3 years...my 1st car will be a toyota tercel or corolla, something economic and easy to find parts.
and after school i'll get my STi

but it all depend of what you're planing to do in the future

Re: Hello

Alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

Icalled the insurances and asked how much it cost for a Mitsubishi 3000gt, they said about 200bucks per months for the 3000gt, so I bet the WRX isn't raf from 200 bucks

Re: Hello

Right: 9 years ago I paid about $1300 a year for a Dodge Omni, and I was 18. Under 18 (Heck, under 25), in the car, you're looking a big insurance bill very month. Add in a ticket or two and you won't be a happy camper.

Also, do yourself a favor a sock some cash away: I know too many people in their mid 20's making the final payments on their 'new' cars and they have nothing else to their names.

Re: Hello

I second Steve's opinon. Remember, of all the things you are going to purchase in your life, a car is one of the most rapidly depreciating objects. As soon as you sign the purchase order, it's now worth $2000 less.... If you're 18 and get a decent auto insurance coverage, and got a few tickets, don't be shocked if the monthly insurance bill to be close to your car payment....ouch. You should do your research before you make the purchase.

Re: Hello

yes, Subaru are pretty good in snow, I live in Quebec, Canada, the snow is worst than NY, and that's why an Sti is my 1st choice of car.
I 1st wanted an Skyline, but I ca'nt drive it for 3/4 of the years...maybe 10 times per years because of the temperature...
so let me tell you why I want a Subaru WRX:

1: I can purchase it in Canada
2: Very good in snow
3: I love the car like it is, nothing I want to mod ( maybe the performance but that's not sure...)
4: can be a daily driver car

Whoa......wait a second. You are telling me my car has AWD and I didn't even know it!!! HOLY COW!!!

Always nice to do a little research on the car before you buy it. Oh and that whole thing up there was sarcasm, hard to tell over the internet.
