95-3.1 Drivers side door lock switch not working

The drivers side doorlock switch does not operate. The passenger side operates the drivers side lock and other door locks just fine but not vice versa. I switched the switchs and the drivers side operates finewhen installed on passenger side door, the passenger side switch does not operate when installed on the drivers side door, so switches are good.. i removed the relay behind the glove box area and inspected the coils and wiring and no obvious defects,...i checked voltage on the orange power wire feeding the drivers side switch and it shows 11 volts, while the passenger side shows 12.5-13...I know tthere has got to be a short in the power wire somewhere, my question is "where do the wires run to between the "boot" of the door and the relay on other side ..are they routed under the front seats or where???? I want to trace out the wiring but was hoping someone may have had this problem and knows swhere the wiring is routed..schematics are fine but don't show actually wire paths.....Help....

Re: 95-3.1 Drivers side door lock switch not working

the wires from the door all run through the driver side kick panel...pull off the molding that retains the carpet at the door frame, and pull back the carpet at the kick panel. there should be a whole slew of wires behind there.
