speaker size ?

I have a Trans Sport -92

I wounder how big speakers (size) I can place in the original speaker hole in the dash and the back door?

I think the dash will not accept anything much bigger, but the lower holes in the rear door hidden behind the plastic are tailored for 6x9. I have put a pair of 6x9 , cut out the hole for the grille and kept the smaller speakers in the top . A definite improvement.

The four original speakers are 4 inches round, in as much as I can remember.

ell I kept the four original in their place, but added a "generic" pair of 6x9 with a hefty magnet and voice coil and built in tweeter, but nothing sky high: also added a booster amplifier (hidden behind wheel well cover) for the "now" 4 rear speakers only (used with the original radio that does not have a lot of power anyway.
