Phantom Grip LSD and cornering

I'm thinking about getting the Phantom Grip LSD... my only concern is that I want something that'll work on the track as well as on the strip. I'd like to be able to accelerate out of turns. Does anybody know whether the Phanton Grip LSD would make this impossible? Thanks!

Also

Also... I've heard that the stock spider gears may bust using the Pahntom Grip... what are the chances of my differential pin going out, too? I don't want to replace my whole transfer case... Thanks!

Oh! F that then! I'll just save up for a Quiafe LSD... 6 times the price, but they brag that it'll handle whatever hp u can throw at it... a huge upgrade from using the stock spider gears to jerry rig some LSD... Thanks for the input.

Aren't those Phantom Grips just inserts? I've read the inserts are just temporary fixes and will actually cause damage later. Quaife is the way to go if you want a LSD that is pretty much maintenance free while the Kaaz LSD requires doing figure 8's after installation and fluid change after a period of time. You might also want to check out KarKing's LSDs. They're cheaper than Quaife and they have a good reputation. Quaife is the most popular choice among DSMers. I want to get a LSD installed in my car, but it won't be for a while. How many people have a LSD installed in their car?

I've had both.
I'm have pulled similar 60 foot times with each. actually I had the best 60 with the PG. so far anyway. then again this is with 2 different setups.

the quaife corners a whole lot betta than the PG, its not unpredictable.

the reason I went quaife is because I had the tranny apart, so the the hell not, the phanton and diff is on my shelf looking good as ever.
