SI cam in D15B2
I was told U can put a SI cam in a D15B2 but you need an adjustable cam gear to adjust cam timing. Why and what do you adjust it to?
When you adjust the cam timing do you need to adjust the spark timing to offset?? Thanks.. for any response.. |

i'm sure u can use an si cam with no problems...but if u want to use an adjustable cam then get an aem...probably see more gains than with an si cam ...but u'd have to get it adjusted

Re: SI cam in D15B2
haha, he said that he thinks that he should use an adjustable camgear with the d16a6 cam because the dx camgear won't work or something. out of all the things that i have read, i read that you need a camgear from an si to be able to use the si cam, BUT, you can also use an adjustable camgear.

Re: SI cam in D15B2
You can put a Si cam in a DX head (to let you in on a secret its the same head) but if you dont do the MPFI swap on your DX there no point the cam will actully make less power with DPFI setup.
