98 626 air cond belt squeal

my daughter drives a great 626. but after changing the belts we got a squeal... it happens only when you turn the ac on.... it lasts for about 15-30 seconds.. ive tried another aftermarket belt (one was a gates the other a dayco) no difference...it stops for a few days then right back... ive tried tightening and loosining.. nothing changes... i dont want to get it too tight.. unless you guys think that cant be too tight on this car.... or do i need to just shut up and buy an OE belt. thanks!

Mine started squealing too. I put some belt dressing on it and it stopped. Don't know if that's the preferred fix or not, but it has worked so far.
