2000 626 squeaks at start up

2000 626 squeaks upon engine start-up. It last 30 seconds or so. Is this a sign of belts needing to be replaced? I am not that automotive inclined but I am concerned, what should I do?

The problem is your alternator belt, i went to pepboys and got it changed for 50 bucks. End of problem, if you dont fix it now it will just get much worse.

if im not 2 later..try 2 tighning up ur intensuner belt (drive belt) that woud work the job..GL
