sr front clip or motorset

Alright SR guys i got a question for u. Which would be better the front clip or the motorset. I do plan on upgrading the radiator and do a FMIC.

it all depends on what kind of shape your front end is.. if theres any bet parts or rust then get the clip. the clip takes more work to install cause you're basically buying the front half of a car.. and more can go wrong with a clip. but you CAN buy a clip and take the engine out of it. i don't think there's a significant price difference..that might even be the more popular way of buying sr's.. the fmic will fit in either the clip or your stock front end. what you COULD do is do the sil-eighty conversion. that actually gives you more room for your fmic and rad.

get a clip when you get a clip u know your getting everything you need if you dont get the clip u will have to go and find a lot more parts clip is the best way to go

yea heavythrottle xatracing and phase2 are great places to get clips...with a clip usually the wiring harness is untouched...which is good...the wiring of an sr is pretty easy if you know how to splice wires...i have a website that tells you color of wires and what they are...i also have a website of all the wiring diagrams of s13's

yea i have helped a buddy of mine drop a sr in his car and it wasn't hard at all. i just wished i woulda paid attention when he did his wiring.
