93 p71 questions

hello i had a couple of questions about my newly purchased crown vic interceptor. does all the p71's have tranny and engine coolers? how much horsepower do these things have? what kind of tranny fluid should i put in her? can i use mercon v? i have a little bit of a shuttering im quessing its from the tranny although ive read in some places that i should change the plugs and wires. should i change the differential fluid gear oil? and what other maintenance do you suggest on this particular car? this is my first ford ever im used to buicks and chevy's so i need your professional opinions, thanks guys

Yes not only should your trans use Mercon V, but it MUST use it.

Shudder can, and often is, caused by a bad plug or wire, so do not discount that.

Changine your gear oil is adviseable, but not exactly required.

All P71 do have both trans and engine oil coolers, on your model the engine cooler is oil to air, and it is mounted infront of the rad.
