99-04 how to take headlight cover off????

i have a 01 gc and i wanted to take that little amber strip out of the side of the headlight and i was wondering if anyone knew how to do it or knew of a website that can show me how, thanks

headlight cover

If it's what I think it is,remove the headlight housing. There should be screws on the back.

no there are no screws in the back im talkin about like the lens or the clear cover on the front its like glued together

That's right, the headlight lens and marker lights are all part of a one piece housing.

Remove the screw/s on the back, pull the lens forward.
