I have tried numerous things including Eagle one Wet polish, then someone told me to just use the Mr Clean Car Wash soap on the rims, which worked pretty good, but not great. I was wondering if there was safe polish to use on them that wouldn't damage them. I have seen Mothers, and other brands. It's an 03 Denali with factory rims.

Re: What's the best way to make your factory rims sparkle?
Mother's, Meguire's, and all those can be bought at most Auto Parts stores. They will say on them if they're safe for whatever types of wheels you have.
Are you're wheels chrome, or what? ALso make sure you dry them well after you wash them...to avoid water spots on them |

Jack, this may help you or maybe not.
If you know of a large truckstop in your area, there are guys that hang out around them that do nothing but polish aluminum rims. $10 or less per wheel. They can take a dull aluminum wheel and put a mirror finish on it in no time. Experience, jeweler's rouge and a buffer is all they use. It's really worth it. |

I use Meguairs wet shine (lasts thru about 2 rains, as compared to eagle 1--2 days), For my rims, I spray them down with NON-ACID wheel cleaner -in my experience they are mostly all the same. rinse them shortly after, then use a foaming window cleaner for the rims. Works well for me.
