Your Exhaust Opinions Please

I've got a '99 LS with a rusted out stock exhaust and want to replace it with an upgrade to accomidate a turbo in the future. I've been looking at the Apexi N-1, HKS High Power, Skunk2, Hayame, and Tanabe Super Medalion. As you may have noticed I prefer the straight through N-1 style. Anyone have anything to say, good...bad...or indifferent? My concerns also lie in the various pipe diameters available. Also, what about Tsudo? Thanx for any help.

im a big fan of Apex N1. If you want to save money, just get the muffler then get some mandrel bent 2.5-3" piping. If you want it to sound better and with guaranteed power gain, get the full system. Each one you listed is a good choice too, but i wouldnt recommend tsudo.

I am a fan of the HKS Hi Power and the Apex'i N1. The N1 yes has the huge muffler tip, but has a good pipe diameter. The HKS however is about the same, but the tip isnt that big and has a very nice tone with it. I had the Apex'i on my RX7 and I liked how it looked, but it was a little loud. On my civic I have the HKS Hi Power and I could not be more happier about it. It looks good and its got a very good tone to it comming from a B16A2 Swap, and roars something fierce when my engine reaches the Vtec change over.
For piping though the HKS one is a little small on mine, its only 2.2 In, but for the Apex'i one its slightly bigger at 2.4 inches if I am not mistaken.

Thats my opinions with the 2 exhausts I have used.
